Toward a Global Space Power: Leading the New Space Era Together with Our Members Greetings,

A warm welcome to all of you visiting the website of our Association—your trusted partner in Korea’s space industry. Today, the world is engaged in increasingly fierce competition to lead the “new frontier” of space. Breakthroughs such as significant cost reductions through reusable launch vehicle technology and the operation of ultra-small, high-performance satellite constellations are no longer distant prospects.

Amid these waves of transformation, our Association pledges the following three commitments to ensure that our member companies secure global competitiveness and expand Korea’s presence in the space sector:

First, we will serve as a solid “bridge” for the New Space ecosystem. Technological innovation in space cannot be achieved by companies alone. Meaningful growth is realized when innovative ideas and technical capabilities from the field are aligned with government policies and institutional support.

We will maintain open and active communication channels to ensure that your voices are clearly conveyed to the government, and we will take the lead in creating an environment where our members can focus fully on technological innovation

Second, we will expand the space market from technology to industry. Space technology must evolve beyond R&D into a high value-added industry that generates profit.

Our Association will focus its efforts on attracting investment in the space launch vehicle and satellite sectors, while identifying sustainable business models that deliver tangible returns.

We will serve as a strong platform to ensure that your outstanding products and proprietary technologies are properly recognized in the market, leading to real business opportunities and growth.

Third, we will become a strong “hub” for global cooperation. In an increasingly interconnected global space market, we will strengthen international cooperation so that our companies can advance as key partners in the global supply chain.

We will fully support overseas expansion initiatives and participation in global forums, while actively promoting the excellence of our member companies and enhancing the value of the “K-Space” brand.

Distinguished members, The space industry is characterized by rapid change and high uncertainty. However, if we come together and embrace innovation, Korea will undoubtedly emerge as a leading global space power.
